This is our 13th REUNION of “Pioneros de Oregon.” We are
honored to celebrate and commemorate Oregon Migrant Pioneers. The majority of the Migrants had Tejano Roots
and the LORD has called some of our friends to the ETERNAL LIFE. Alfonso “Ponchito”
Benavides was called on 11.26.2014. Ponchito
would have celebrated “103 years of life”
on 2.12.2015; he was proud to share the same b/d as our 16TH USA President
Abraham Lincoln. Ponchito was a true Tejano as he had the most AMISTOSA
–Friendly personalidad and attitude that was POSITIVE!..A MODEL OF HOW LIFE SHOULD BE LIVED AND CELEBRATED. Ponchito will be with us via our website 2.12.2012 “100”
